Windows 8.1 is accompanied by Internet Explorer (IE) 11, which aims at delivering faster page loading along with a better touch performance. Market has a rumor that the Windows 8.1 users will be able to boot straight to the desktop rather than going through the actual procedure of the Start Screen.
